‘National Integration and Makarsankranti’

Arihant College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Bavdhan, Pune- 21, organized a programme on 14th January 2022“National Integration and Makarsankranti” From 10.00 am Onwards. The programme was organized by Department of Arts and Science.Due to the pandemic conditions, the program was organised in an online mode.

Special Assembly and Celebration for Makar Sankranti as “National Integration and Makarsankranti”.

 The program was organized   under the “Dnyanoday upkram” One of the best practices of the college.

Makar Sankranti is believed traditionally to mark the arrival of spring in India. As it is the festival of Sun God and he is regarded as the symbol of divinity and wisdom, the festival also holds an eternal meaning to it.

We had a Special Assembly for the celebration of Makarsankranti as “National Integration and Makarsankranti”.

The programme was very informative in nature as all faculties and many students shared the information on Makarsankranti celebration in different states of India.There was also a candy segment added to the celebration, which was a Geography and science behind the festival. All faculty members and many students were actively participated and enjoyed the festival celebration.

The programme was organized under the able guidance of Dr. Bhushan Patil, Managing Director, Arihant Education Foundation, Pune and Dr. Purushottam Wadje, Principal, Arihant College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Bavdhan, Pune.

Mrs.Durga Dagade (Coordinator of Dnyanoday Upkram) has given the brief introduction of the program at the start.

Dr. Priya Kanojia and Mrs. Nikhila Tippannawar have worked as a programme in charge.Dr. Pallavi Kadam done the anchoring and Ms. Rushika Kinjawadekarproposed the vote of thanks.The programme was successful because of the participation of all staff members.
