Special Winter Camp 

Special Winter Camp of National Service Scheme of Arihant College, Bavdhan was organised from 2^nd January 2023 to 8^th January 2023 at Ghotawade village, Tal-Mulshi, District-Pune. Various activities were conducted in the village during these seven day Special Winter Camp. NSS Volunteers received the appreciation of villagers by conducting cleanliness drive, social and democratic awareness campaign, literacy survey, street play, group discussion, cultural program etc. in the camp. Apart from this, lectures on different topics were organised for the students in the Camp. First lecture on ‘Marathi Language & Personality Development’ were given by Dr. Ravindra Shinde (Asst. Professor, Department of Marathi, SPPU), Second lecture on ‘Today’s Youth & Addiction’ were given by Dr. Vishnu Srimangle (Executive Director of Manodaya De-Addiction Society, Pune) and Third lecture on ‘Today’s Youth & Kirtan’ were given by Mr. Swapnil Tapkir, The Special Winter Camp was inaugurated by Sarpanch Ms. Bhagyashree Deokar. On this occasion, Upsarpanch Mr.Santosh Godambe, Gram Panchayat members and Village Development Officer Mr.Chandrakant Devkamble were present. Total 50 students Participated in this Special Winter Camp. For this Camp all Teaching & Non-teaching staff were present and got support. This Special Winter Camp was organised under the guidance of Academic Director Dr. Hemant Bhise & I/C Principal Mr.Mangesh Takpire. NSS Program Officer Dr. Ashok Kamble & Ms. Durga Dagade was the co-ordinator of this Special winter Camp.
