Arihant College of Arts, Commerce, and Science, Bavdhan, Pune-21, observed Mahaparinirvan Din on 6th December 2024, in honor of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Every year, marks the death anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and a visionary leader who fought for social justice and the rights of the marginalized. The day is significant for its celebration of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar life, his contributions to Indian society, and his role in shaping the nation’s political and social landscape.
Fifty Three students of the college actively participated by delivering speeches that reflected on Dr. Ambedkar’s enduring legacy and its importance in today’s world. Their words underscored the values of equality, justice, and education, which Dr. Ambedkar tirelessly advocated throughout his life.
During this program, Dr.Ashok Chaskar and Dr.Mangesh Takpire delivered inspiring speeches highlighting the life, legacy, and invaluable contributions of Dr. Ambedkar to Indian society. Students of the college also participated by delivering speeches that reflected on Dr. Ambedkar’s contributions and their relevance in contemporary society.
