The college runs under the aegis of Arihant Education foundation, Pune was established in the year 2012-13 and is located at Bavdhan, suburban area of Pune Municipal Corporation, Pune. The College has state of arts infrastructure with ICT enabled laboratories and classroom. The college runs senior college programs in all the streams viz. Arts, Commerce and Science. Our students are participated in sports at intercollegiate, Zonal and Group levels. Every year the college organizes annual social gathering, over whelming response from the students were recorded in annual gathering. The students have involved in dance, music, drama, singing, One act play etc. for showcasing their talent. The management of the college provides a good quality teaching and learning environment to strengthen the character and personality of the students through –
- Equipping the student with relevant knowledge with ICT and holistic development methods in order to face global challenges.
- Provision of modern educational facilities to the students.
- Making students aware of human rights, value system, cultural, scientific temperament and environmental issues.
Principal's Message
Arihant Education Foundation’s Arihant College of Arts, Commerce & Science (ACACS), Bavdhan (Bk), Pune-411021 is located to the western side on Pune close to Pune- Bengaluru Highway. Hence, it is very easy to access this college from many sides of the city. Although, it is close to highway, there is serenity (calmness) on the campus which is congenial for study/ learning / academic pursuits. It is an institute in Pune catering to the academic needs of both rural & urban students.
Although the college is comparatively new, its infrastructure – i.e. the building, laboratories, library, playground, classrooms, Computer Laboratory, canteen, etc. — is of very high standard. The college campus is quiet clean & hygienic. There is 24*7 hours security for the safety of students, teaching & non-teaching staff and the campus as a whole. The college has obtained examination center from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Imparting knowledge across various spectrums in the field of education, Arihant College of Arts, Commerce & Science aims at making its students ready for the future with its excellent academically conductive infrastructure and curriculum. Perspective Plan
LONG TERM PLANNING OF ARIHANT COLLEGE, BAVDHAN,PUNE-21
Our strategic plan is an instrument for up-gradation and its sustainable growth of our college, for this purpose we have marked systematic benchmarking, which is very essential. The rapid changes in science and technology, trends in global trade, commerce and management, economic phenomenal, which are affecting the education system. Accordingly, our management has defined perspective plans and plan of action. Arihant College Bavdhan is determined to make available required resources to accomplish the perspective plans. Apart from the conventional degree path of UG, introduction of various other under and postgraduate programmes are in pipeline. The following various undergraduate and post-graduation programmes are proposed to be introduced:
U.G. Programmes -BBA, BBA (IB), BBA (CA), BCA (Science), B.Sc. (Data Science), B.Sc. (Fashion Designing), B.Sc. (Cyber Security)

Research Center- Ph.D. Programmes In synchronization with Savitribai Phule Pune University Arihant College Bavdhan is determined to establish research center for understanding challenges and benefits in the faculty of Humanities, Commerce & Management and Science & Technology wherein Ph.D. programmes will be conducted. The object of the research center is to explore institutional strategies that capitalize on the strength of institute. College is intended to strengthen research center through rewarding leaders who embrace a collaborative point of view and develop research culture that frowns upon research building. To maintain high standard in academics, the required infrastructure will be made available in the campus. The institution has future plan to construct the state of art boys and girls hostel having the capacity of 500 students each hostel.
